DJ Fatboy

While growing up in Southeast Portland’s Felony Flats neighborhood, Jewells Peña aka DJ Fatboy, always aimed for the stars with ambitions of being one of the city's top DJ’s, even at times when the cards were stacked against him. With an early start in Guitar Center DJ competitions, DJ Fatboy worked what could be considered the chittlin circuit for DJ’s to pay his dues in the pursuit of his dreams. Through all of the hardwork and sacrifice DJ Fatboy saw his dedication pay off.

Once his name started to ring bells the calls started to come in. With an early start with some Portland’s premiere Hip­-Hop artists, DJ Fatboy started to receive recognition on a national level and along came the calls from entertainment heavyweights E-­40, Kreayshawn, Berner, Too Short, Too Many Zooz, Illmaculate, and More

Always aiming for perfection, that character trait has kept him a sought-after talent and has opened many doors for him. From national tours with E-­40 and G­ Eazy, to international festival tours with Kreayshawn, and national bus tours handling DJ duties for Berner, DJ Fatboy has gained global experience as a top-level club DJ, tour DJ, and corporate event DJ.

His resume boasts nights at LIV (Miami), Wireless Festival (London), Moon (Las Vegas), Springroove (Japan), 1OAK (Las Vegas), Rock Werchter (Belgium), Tech N9ne’s “Independent Grind” Tour, Kreayshawn’s “Group Hug” Tour, G ­Eazy’s “Bay 2 The Universe” Tour, E-­40’s “Choices” Tour, Berner & Devin The Dude “Buds & Suds” Tour, Too Many Zooz “West Coast Love” Tour, Too Short & E­-40’s “Texas Invasion” Tour, and Many More.
